Joshua drives strategic initiatives across the firm through business development, marketing, and client management
Joshua Boren is the Managing Director, Strategic Initiatives for RCLCO and works across the firm’s three lines of business to drive major efforts and undertakings both externally and internally. Specifically, Joshua specializes in leading business development, client management, marketing, and customer solutions as part of the RCLCO team. With nearly 20 years of experience, Joshua brings a particular expertise in understanding how network building and relationship management is critical to organizational success, resulting in millions of dollars of revenue generation and successful RCLCO engagements across a range of client types include institutional investors, developers, owners, operators, and the like.
Joshua has overseen the growth of the business development and marketing departments, which were recognized by Globe St. as “Influencers in Marketing” within the real estate industry, while also helping launch and host RCLCO’s webinar and podcast series in addition to other RCLCO events and initiatives. More recently, he was identified as a “Power Player” in Mixed-Use Development by Street & Smith’s Sports Business Journal.
Prior to RCLCO, Joshua led global business development efforts for world-renown architect Dan Meis, where he spent nearly a decade as one of the young leaders in the stadium, arena, and venue design and development sector. During this time, he worked for global leading architectural, engineering, and construction firms including Aedas, Populous, and Woods Bagot, before assisting with the successful launch of MEIS Architects.
Joshua graduated from The Wharton School, at the University of Pennsylvania with a concentration in real estate and entrepreneurship.
A Detroit-native, Joshua currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife and two children. In addition to spending as much time with his family as possible, Joshua is an avid sports fan (particularly soccer) and enjoys exploring life and travel through food.
